THE BOOK

BODY OF EVIDENCE: The perfect gift for the lover of ART and NOIR.

"truly beautiful and horrible at the same time."  - Meriah Crawford

Inspired by his own fascination with mystery novels, films and police procedural TV shows, artist Chuck Scalin created 14 “evidence boxes”. Each of these boxes contained clues to unsolved mysteries that were assembled

from Chuck's  vast collection of intriguing vintage found objects and photos. After exhibiting these boxes in a local gallery, Chuck invited 14 talented writers and challenged them to develop narratives that elucidate the contents in each of these boxes.
